Announcing the Upcoming Launch of the Socrates Username Mint Plan

Dear Socrates users,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Socrates Username Mint Plan is about to come! Below are the key details you need to know:

Minting phases

• Phase 1: Starting from 2nd December, 11:00 AM GMT, users can mint usernames consisting of 7 or more characters/digits.
• Subsequent phases: Minting for usernames with 6 and 5 characters/digits will be available soon. Stay tuned for updates.

Technical and product notice

1. A username is a unique identifier; once minted, it cannot be changed or duplicated.
2. Once the minting process is complete, the username is considered final and cannot be revoked. Please choose your username carefully.
3. The system allows you to link your username to your designated wallet address, ensuring the security of your digital assets.
4. It’s a first-come, first-served process.

Platform disclaimer

1. User responsibilities

Usernames must comply with the Platform’s Username Policy and must not contain illegal, inappropriate, sensitive, or offensive content. Socrates reserves the right to cancel or remove any username that violates these rules.

Users are responsible for ensuring that the usernames they mint do not infringe on any rights (including, but not limited to, copyright, trademark, and privacy rights).

If a username is removed due to a violation, the user will bear any resulting losses.

The Platform is not responsible for any litigation, claims, losses, or damages arising from the minting of usernames. Users must handle third-party issues independently and take full responsibility.

2. Platform liability limitations

The Platform provides only the technical services for minting and trading NFTs. It does not, and will not, verify or guarantee the legality, authenticity, or validity of the usernames. The Platform shall not be liable for any violations or disputes.

If a username violates the rules, the Platform reserves the right to remove it. Any loss resulting from such removal shall be borne by the User.

In the event of a third-party claim regarding infringement, the Platform may take necessary actions as per relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to suspending content or terminating services/accounts. Users must cooperate in the resolution of such disputes and bear all legal liabilities and associated costs.

3. Risk warning

Users should fully understand the potential risks associated with minting and trading NFTs, and exercise caution when using the Platform. The Platform strongly recommends that users consult a professional advisor before proceeding if they are unsure about a particular operation.

Please ensure that you read the applicable Platform Policies before taking any action. The Platform reserves the right to amend and interpret these terms and conditions. Please regularly check for updates and announcements. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions above, please refrain from using the username minting feature.
